I had to yell 3 times to get the attention of the waitress who was conversing with the bartender. I was born in a Cubby’s clubhouse and I sure as hell hope to die in one. Alas, the server came over, not to take our order, but to give us the sheet of specials. That's when the prompt service ended. I had been away from Massachusetts for 2 years living in the Southwest and really missed the local seafood. I'm a seafood fancier and Marshland does well in cooking and presentation. I was going to order a dessert but the thought of flagging someone down did not appeal to me. We were seated promptly.
John Porter continued to grow corn and wheat but changed from sheep raising to cattle breeding . Busy place with limited seating (maybe 20 or so chairs with a few at the counter) but wonderful food.
Small quaint little restaurant, food was delicious & service was ok. Would go there again next time.

Seafood, Burgers, American New, Caribbean, My husband cannot move off this Rueben sandwich- every time he orders- it is Rueben, Rueben or Rueben.
