SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS

The following scholarships are awarded based on students’ academic performance in conjunction with a few other factors, such as leadership skills and commitment to community service. As a result, the most competitive applicants will be dedicated, high-achieving students who are also invested in their communities. 

Application due April 25, 2019-May 15th, 2019

This Scholarship is for one (1) year

The scholarship recipient must be a full-time student (12 credits) for the Fall Semester 2019 with a minimum G.P.A. of 3.5 and who has completed 100 hours of community service.

·The scholarship recipient must provide proof of official enrollment. The scholarship will be awarded only after proof of official enrollment (after official drop/add deadline) is received. Scholarship funds will then be made payable to the university/college on behalf of the student.

·The scholarship recipient will receive a one-time stipend of $1,000.00 for the 2019 academic year.

·Notification must be given to The Rev. Dr. Alma Stevens Scholarship by the recipient within ten (10) days for the following circumstances:

·Must write an essay of at least 600 words
