The site was easy to get to, close to all the nearby hotspots (Big Bend, Starlight theatre, Cottonwood general store, Alon gas station, Big Bend River Tours, etc. Spread out in one of two spacious, 12'x12' elevated shelters, each with a fire pit and lots of elbow room. We felt safe and never worried about leaving our belongings behind while we hiked in Big Bend. This peaceful camp is located on a working homestead 15 miles north of the ghost town Terlingua. The only desert sounds you'll hear are crickets, the soft cooing of quail and other birds, and the distant call of coyotes. The GPS coordinates were very far off from the correct location so you'd be better off putting Terlingua Ghost Town in the navigation app and find it near Espresso u Poco mas (which I highly recommend) Also the bathrooms have no lights but other than those qualms it was a nice well kept location.
