Rooms were well decorated and comfortable. The rooms are fantastic and the beds some of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in, its hard to get out and explore when you have such a divine bed lol. It’s close to the popular Ekkamai and Thong Lor entertainment areas and offers excellent connections to lower Sukhumvit and Siam through affordable accommodation options right next to the skytrain. Thanks for sharing! We really love the Avani Riverside Bangkok Hotel. This is a family-run hotel and has been in the familyś care for more than a century since the time of King Rama V. It used to be called the Old Bangkok Inn, but when they decided to include their love of old vintage bikes into the design of the hotel, they renamed it. The driving time from Suvarnabhumi Airport to for instance Sukhumvit Road (a popular area to stay in with lots of hotels and restaurants) is around 45 min.

We celebrated a fantastic New Years eve here a few years ago. Or you can walk to Victory Monument (Panfa Leelard Pier, 1 km or 15 min walk from Kao San, just north of the Golden Mountain) and take a river/ canal ferry from there to Siam, Hua Chang Pier (the main shopping area of Bangkok with all the huge shopping malls).

Have a great trip to Bangkok! We had a wonderful stay at the Baan Vajra. The hotel features an outdoor infinity-edge pool. We’re not clubbing or major nightlife folks, but would like to stay somewhere interesting – I know we may not be able to do it all! Not too much night noise. The market is located in Maeklong, about a 90 minutes drive by car outside of Bangkok, so it will be a half-day trip. Featuring an industrial style, Bed Station Hostel is a 2-minute walk from Ratchathewi BTS Skytrain Station. Looks like the Century Park Hotel lays in the Khao San/ Banglamphu Area in this guide, but far away from the party streets. We ended up staying at Thanabhumi and Riva Surya and loved them both!
She spends most of her "down-time" out in the wilderness, climbing, hiking, and beyond, and is feverishly passionate about travel and health. The drive from Pattaya to Bangkok takes about 2 hours. Complimentary WiFi is provided. One of the best hostel experiences my husband and I have had. Rooms are big and beds extremely comfortable, buffet breakfast is delicious. We took the train one way (from Bangkok to Ayutthaya), but booked a car through the Grab app on our way back and it worked perfectly. Also i am there for 5 days Your reply would be highly appreciated and could help us to make our stay memorable. It is very important for me to have a comfortable bed which they have!! We love staying by the riverside! Bangkok is a thrilling city famous for wild parties and magnificent Thai temples. -Sachas Hotel Uno – Sukhumvit – very good – BUT hotel is very noisy – RECOMMENDED, -FX Hotel Metrolink – Makkasan – very good & good place to stay if you have an early flight from BKK – rail link to airport & metro 2 mins walk. Inn A Day also looks very cool, located by the river, with a charming decor, beautiful view and cool vibe. Family want to stay away from red-light areas, but dont mind crowd. The rooftop bar and infinity-edge swimming pool have a fantastic view of Bangkok’s skyline.
