The main characters, Jackson and Olivia, are wonderfully real. I regret nothing. Wonderful love story, not too sentimental, just enough really. Highly recommend this book, and series, and can't wait for the next one! This book takes place in the same time period as the first in this series and it is kind of fun to read from this perspective. Olivia and Jackson’s love was instant and simple, they never really held themselves back in that way. Listeners. The story flows well & this was a quick read for me because I didn't want to put it down! There were a few twists which may change your opinions on some of the main characters of this book, these twists really help make up for the lack of emphasis on the love side of things. Sydney's writing brings the characters to life and you'll be rooting for Olivia, Jackson and Ryder, and falling in love. Timing is everything. I am thinking it's a sign Sydney and her husband make their home in beautiful East Tennessee. It’s a doozy and does not disappoint. You see, I’ve been her dedicated stalker since the start of this series. And when they fall through, things seem bleak. There is also hope. This is sweet & fun, but also deals with some serious family issues very well.
Jasper and Malka... their love story tore my heart out and then put it back together again. You can really fell the pain throughout the read.
